Chapter 7

Flashback

A/N:Sorry again for the late update.It's hard to be anovelist.You needs lots of ideas and sometimes,it is
stressful while sometimes,billions of ideas are flowing on

are the grandfather's of our protagonists.Be sure to check
it out or you won't understand who is who.

Five decades ago,Wang Fu Hao (Julius and Russel's grandfather),Hong Sheng (Ramia's grandfather)and Xiao Ling (GuiGui's grandfather) are very close friends since they all studied at a military school.Wang Fu Hao and Xiao Ling both came from a rich family while Hong Sheng has a poor family background.Fu Hao and Xiao Ling entered the military school to enhanced their abilities when it comes to courage.Hong Sheng was accepted into a military school when he won a fighting contest and the price was a scholarship.Since he was a child,Hong Sheng has dreamed to be a soldier to protect the country especially his loved ones.WaLuo Military School is an exclusive Military School for the royal blood families.Not all people are given a chance to study in an exclusive school due to a high tuition fee.Hong Sheng became roommates with Fu Hao and Xiao Ling but despite of his poor state,Fu Hao and Xiao Ling never hesitated to become friends with Hong Sheng.

They believe that the status in life doesn't matter because what matters most is the bond between friendship.The three of them have been studying WaLuo Military School for almost four years.Graduation day came."Xiao Ling,why are you sad?"Hong Sheng asked."Because we'll be separated after graduation day."he cried."How about we made a promise to each other?"Fu Hao suggested."Sounds good!What promise?"Hong Sheng asked."I want the three of us to strengthen our friendship even more."Fu Hao said."Strengthen?We're already best friends,aren't we?"Xiao Ling said."Xiao Ling is right!So if anyhow,how do we strengthen it?"Hong Sheng asked."Let's marry our future granddaughter or grandson to one another.Our first granddaughter or grandson when they reached the age of twenty.That way,we can be related."Fu Hao said.The two agreed and signed their contract with their signatures on it on a piece of paper.Two years after they graduated,each of them settled down and had their own family.Five years later,Korea invaded Taiwan.They wanted to conquer its land including China itself.The Chinese and Taiwanese people joined its forces and called all the soldiers to defend their land.

The three of them were sent out to fought but unfortunately,Fu Hao and Xiao Ling were captured by Korean soldiers.Hong Sheng heard that his two best friends were captured and he made a plan to save his two friends.His plan was to let himself be captured.After awhile,he was captured.The three of them were together again.Koreans were speaking in a different language and they sounded mad."These three won't spit it out where the treasure is hidden."a man said."Kill them!"the headmaster ordered."I'll go pretend that I need to poo."Hong Sheng said."Go poo?Why?"Xiao Ling asked."Here's our plan."Hong Sheng whispered."It might be dangerous."Fu Hao said."I must take the risk."Hong Sheng said."Ouch!Ouch!Poo!Poo!"Hong Sheng said.The Koreans untied Hong Sheng.Once he was untied,Hong Sheng automatically grabbed the Korean's weapon and took the Korean as a hostage."Untie them!"Hong Sheng shouted.

The Koreans untied the two."Run!Run!"Hong Sheng shouted."We can't leave you here."Fu Hao said."It's too dangerous,we're not going."Xiao Ling said."You two are such idiots,we'll all be killed at this state.Let me be the sacrifice,just accomplish our promised to one another,that would make me happy."Hong Sheng cried."But--"Xiao Ling and Fu Hao said."Just go you guys!"Hong Sheng cried.Xiao Ling and Fu Hao ran not for the sake of their lives but for the sake of their promise to one another.Hong Sheng died after being shot by Korean soldiers.His family was in grief but Xiao Ling and Fu Hao informed Wang XiaLin,Hong Sheng's wife,about their promise.

She agreed to the contract to marry their future grandchildren to either Xiao Ling or Fu Hao's grandchildren since it was her husband's last wish.It has been fifty years since they promised to one another and now is the time to fulfill it.Ramia and Julius must be engaged and marry each other,the same goes for Russel and Paris.
