Chapter 8
It's been a month since she came to Taiwan. She gets used to the place and the people around her. She and Chen Lin became best of friends.They're calling and sending message frequently. The only thing that makes her sad is her auntie. Until now she can't contact her. She is very worried but she hope and pray that she's safe. It's a sunday morning. The beach in the front of the house is inviting. It's very rare that the boys get a chance to have a dayoff. Except for Chun though. He was send to China to film an action movie and he will stay there for 2 weeks. She went out of the house and walk through the beach and enjoy the sun. Meanwhile, the boys gathered around the kitchen having breakfast. "What is our next activity?" Jiro said between munching. "We will start the filming of drama after tomorrow and the location is in Kenting," Aaron replied. "Nice! Are we gonna stay at your house, Aaron?" Calvin asked. "Yeah. I already inform my mom," he answered. "I wonder what your sister will do when she find out Chun is not with us," Jiro mumbled. "Urrgggghhhh! You don't want to know" Aaron rolled his eyes when he reffered to his sister. He look out the window and saw Anryn running around the beach. "Look at that weirdo," he pointed at Anryn laughing. Jiro and Calvin didn't look at Anryn but to Aaron. They never see him laugh like that. "She's enjoying the beach. It's nice the weather today," Calvin said. "What happen to your pursuing thing with her?" Jiro teases Calvin. "Oh that? She rejected me actually. It's the first time I've felt this way towards a girl but what can I do if her heart belongs to someone else?" Calvin explained and look at Aaron. He knows that he is listening. "How do you know? Did she tell you?" Jiro don't have any idea. "No but I can feel and I can sense when she tell me that it's better if we stay as talent-assistant-friend relationship. I respect her decision," "So she like someone else. I wonder who he is," Jiro looked at Aaron also but he move away his eyes from them. They sit in the front porch and after they finish their meal. Jiro took his guitar and randomly played music while Aaron is reading books and Calvin surfing the net. "Chun send a mail," Calvin informed them. "What did he say?" Jiro asked. He look at the beach and saw Anryn doing something. He put down his guitar. "He is asking if we're ok and how are we doing and he really envy us that we got a chance to take a 2 days off. I'll reply and tell him that we're going to Kenting," Calvin replied while typing in the computer. Jiro stood up and walk towards Anryn. "Hey, where are you going?" Aaron asked. Then Jiro pointed Anryn. Aaron and Calvin look at Anryn's direction. They saw her building a sand castle. And it's a huge one! "Cmon! it looks fun!" Jiro invited them and they run towards her. "That is amazing!" Jiro exclaimed. They joined her in building the castle. "One minute.I'll be back!" Anryn told them and run back to the house. She quickly prepare snacks and drinks and put in the picnic basket,pick a blanket,take her camera and head back to the beach again. "No work, all play today!" she shouted excitedly. She lay down the blanket and take out the food. They're going to have the picnic by the beach. They go swim, build another castle, enjoy the food and doing goofy poses in front of the camera. "This is one of the best day of my life!" she shouted happily. When sun gets hotter, they pack their things and walk back home. Jiro and Calvin is walking ahead of Anryn and Aaron. "Thanks," they both say at the same time. "You go first," Aaron said. "Thank you all for joining me there. I was about to call you when you guys approach me. I really enjoyed it." she replied. "Thank you also for letting our dayoff useful. We rarely do this you know," he said smiling. Anryn blush seeing Aaron smiling. He looks more handsome. "And... ummm... I'm sorry for being rude to you before. Maybe we just started at the wrong direction. I'll behave from now on I promise," he said sincerely. She smiled very wide then it becomes a laugh. "Hey, you're doing it again, laughing by yourself!" Aaron started laughing too because of her laugh. "I'm just happy. At least you admit you're a jerk!" she teases him. "It's because you're like a weirdo! Laughing by yourself everytime," he teases back. When they reach the house, Jiro and Calvin are the one who teases them now. "Somebody patches things up! I wonder what will happen next!" both chanted. "You guys!" she chased them around the house while Aaron can't stop laughing on the side. That night, Anryn can't sleep. She decided to go downstairs and watch tv. She choose a horror movie. She likes scary things. Before she start watching, she took out the popcorn and heat it up on the microwave. Just like in the cinema. She's so busy watching that she didn't notice a shadow sitting behind her. He's been looking at her for long time. "Are you enjoying your popcorn while watching this gruesome things?" Aaron asked. Anryn jump in surprise. "Holy macaroni! Why do you always pops out like that? You will give me a heart attack!" she said angrily. Aaron sit beside her and Anryn got a chance to hit him. "Ouch! That hurts!" he said laughing. Then they continue watching. "Can't sleep?" Aaron asked. "Yeah! How bout you?" she replied. "Mmmmm, just thinking," "About what? Or should I say who?" "Of course what! Who are you thinking?" Nothing!" "Tell me or I'll tickle you" "I said nothing!" Aaron start ticking Anryn. "Stop it or we'll gonna wake them up!" she's talking about Jiro and Calvin. "Cmon! It's 2 o' clock in the morning!" she jump out of the couch and run around the living room. Aaron is still chasing her and don't want to stop. Until Anryn was cornered in the kitchen door. "Wahahaha! I got you! " Aaron is trying to reach her but suddenly Anryn got tripped by the mat and Aaron trying to catch her but he landed on top of her. "Ouch!" both chanted. "Wei, I've seen this scene before," Anryn said. Both of them laugh and stop at the same time. There goes the feeling again. Their eyes lock, and Aaron's face keeps getting closer to Anryn until their lips touch. She felt the electricity running through her veins all over the body. Suddenly, Anryn stop. She stand up, " I'm sorry I..." "What are you saying sorry for?" "I can't do this!" "What do you mean you can't? Don't you feel it? We have the chemistry. I can't explain it too but everytime you're near me, I can't think. When you're laughing around at Calvin I feel heavy in my chest. We have to clear this things up. You..." Anryn didn't let him finish his confession. She just shut him up with a kiss. Then she smiled at him. "No need for long explanation. I have the answer here." she pointed her heart. Aaron smiled at her and kiss her back. Both are happy waiting for the sun to rise.
