Mission 9: Why Part 3

"Big time," ChunNie replied.

"We don't have time to get in touch with Ella," YaLun looking at his watch.

"I guess we should call YiRu," DaDong said. "But if YiRu were Ru Wan Teng's spy, it would be like a movie don't you think?"

"DaDong!" ChunNie snapped at him.

"I'm kidding!" DaDong laughing. "No, I can't reach him."

It's closing time already and YiRu was still waiting at the lobby of the theatre.

"YiRu..." Yi Zhen said while looking from afar.

"You shouldn't get involved with him anymore," Snip told her.

"But I just can't leave him like this!" Yi Zhen told him.

I have no choice. I didn't want to have to tell you this, but he's a murderer.I took him away at the hotel that night to save your father's life," Snip said.

"No... that's not true!" Yi Zhen exclaimed.

"But your heart is honest. Don't tell me your thinking, 'Now that you mention it'" Snip trying to messed up her mind.

"He just got caught up in an accident! I believe in YiRu!" Yi Zhen shouted.

"That's beautiful. But love is a very fragile thing. I will show you what I mean." Snip said mysteriously.

After a few minutes, YiRu's phone rang.

"Yi Zhen!" he answered happily.

"Wrong," Snip said.

"You again!" YiRu said angrily.

"I need to tell you something. Slayers is trying to assassinate your precious Yi Zhen." Snip telling a lie.

"What?!" YiRu was soo surprised.

"She found out about Slayers, it's pretty bad. Well, I was the one who told her about it, but she's going to be killed at..." Snip told the details.

YaLun, DaDong and ChunNie are walking silently to the Taipei National Park.

"Anything?" DaDong asked.

"No," ChunNie answered.

"Who are we up against?" DaDong asked again.

"Help me! Someone help me!" the voice of Yi Zhen filled the whole place.

"Yi Zhen?" YaLun said.

They ran towards her. She was tied up in a tree. Then YiRu appeared from their back.

"Help me!" Yi Zhen screamed again.

"Yi Zhen!" DaDong shouted. "Hold on!"

"Wait!" YiRu stopped them.

"YiRu? What are you doing here?" DaDong asked.

"I want to ask you the same thing!" YiRu shouted.

"We received some strange information, so we came to check it out." ChunNie answered.

"I wonder if what they are saying is true." Snip said hiding behind YiRu's back. They've come to execute Yi Zhen. Hurry up, you have to save her or they will kill her."

"Shut up!" YiRu shouted at him.

YaLun felt someone was hiding from YiRu's back so he grabbed his sword and jumped above YiRu. He slashed the tree behind him and revealed Snip smiling wickedly.

"You cannot bury the truth with lies," YaLun exclaimed landing on his both feet.

Another shadow came from the tree and attacked ChunNie. He's wearing an eye patch in his left eye. They called him Hook. He had the same weapon as ChunNie.

"YiRu!" Yi Zhen called him.

"Yi Zhen!" he ran towards her.

Snip started to shoot him and DaDong pulled him and hide behind the trees.

"YiRu, don't fall into their trap!" DaDong said.

"Yi Zhen! Yi Zhen!" YiRu didn't follow DaDong and still ran towards her.

Snip was still shooting and one bullet hit YiRu's arms. He fell to the ground.

"You'll die in front of your lover, I'm jealous." Snip aimed the gun on him.

Bang!

"Playtime is over!" DaDong shot him.

"Damn," he turned to DaDong and started to shoot him instead. "Take this!"

He kept on shooting DaDong but he's very swift.

"Damn. Out of bullets." Snip throw the gun.

"Give up!" YaLun shouted from behind and attacked Snip.

ChunNie and Hook are still fighting when DaDong came to them. He shoot him and Hook's daggers slip out of his hand.

YiRu untied Yi Zhen from the tree.

"Now, Yi Zhen, can you get up? Yi Zhen? Yi Zhen?" YiRu trying to get Yi Zhen's attention.

She moved away.

"What did he..." YiRu started.

"He said... that we are brother and sister." Yi Zhen said without looking.

"So, your father is Ru Wan Teng?" Yiru asked carefully.

Yi Zhen nodded.

"How... can that be?" YiRu was stunned.

"Let's go," Snip said when he gets back to back with Hook.

He loaded his gun with another magazine and started to shoot again while running away. While YiRu trying to comfort Yi Zhen.

"Please don't cry. We're brother and sister. Nothings wrong with that." YiRu trying to comfort her.

"But..." Yi Zhen said.

YiRu shook his head.

"I've been alone this whole time, but not anymore." he wiped away her tears. "Now, I have you Yi Zhen."

"YiRu!" Yi Zhen hugged him and cried over his shoulder.

"Yi Zhen, we'll be together, forever." YiRu said.

Bang!

YiRu felt some liquid dripping on Yi Zhen. Blood!

"Yi Zhen!" YiRu shouted when he saw her gunshot wound.

Hook shot her before they completely ran away.

YaLun, DaDong, ChunNie came to them.

"Yi Zhen!" YiRu trying to stop the blood from flowing.

"YiRu... I'm so glad I met you," Yi Zhen said before she fainted.

"Let's bring her to the hospital!" DaDong exclaimed and YaLun and ChunNie nodded.

They took Yi Zhen from YiRu's hand. YiRu was staring blankly into the sky as the rain started to fall.

"Why? Why is this happening to me?" YiRu chanted as he was left alone drenched into the cold, heavy rain...
