Mission 7: Bond of Darkness Part 3

"Where is YaLun and ChunNie?" YiRu asked him.

"They're going after the targets, as planned." DaDong answered him. "We were starting to worry, what took you so long?"

YiRu didn't answer him. Instead, "DaDong, there's a girl I hid in the cave over there."

"What?" DaDong asked.

"I knocked her out with some pills, I want you to take her back to Taipei." YiRu requested.

"But..." DaDong started to protest.

"She's pretty," YiRu quickly told him.

"I'll do it," DaDong smiled very wide.

"Help! Somebody! No!" the girls scream as the other hunters chased them.

"Come here, come here," the old man laughing wickedly.

ChunNie appeared from the bushes and aimed the old man. He swiftly stabbed the man with his daggers. The fat man heard his scream from downhill. He looked back and forth and saw the dead dog laying on the ground.

"What the---" the fat man said.

YaLun jumped silently from the cliff and slashed his body with the reverse blade sword. He fell on the stream and the water flowed his body. Mr. Henry saw what happened to his men and ran towards the cottage at the foot of the mountain.

He ran towards the living room catching his breath. He sat down and lit up a cigarette.

The front door open. "Henry Teng!" YiRu appeared in front of him.

"W-Who are you?" Henry tried to reach his gun.

"Don't move!" YiRu aimed his arrow on him.

"Drop your gun." YiRu commanded.

Henry dropped it on the table.

"I'll ask the questions. Henry Teng, you have two brothers, don't you?" YiRu asked.

"Brothers?" Henry was confused.

"One was Mark Teng. He was the head of Kourin." YiRu informed him.

"Are you the one's who..." Henry tried to tell.

"You had another brother, Calvin Teng. Where is he?" YiRu cut him off.

Henry froze. "What's wrong? Answer!" YiRu insisted.

"Calvin?... that's it. Calvin! It's you, isn't it?" Henry said to him. "It's me. I'm your big brother! Don't you remember? We used to play together all the time.

The scene flashed on YiRu's mind. The one he's always dreaming at. "No, it can't be..." He put down his arrow.

"You're alive! When I came back from my studies abroad, you were already gone. Dad, said you were dead. That's all he told me. I found out later that you were kidnapped and killed. But... but I knew you were alive somewhere... i knew. Calvin, I'm so glad you're alive!" Henry hugged YiRu so tight that he can't breathe.

YiRu dropped the arrow on the ground. "B-Brother..."

"Don't leave me again, Calvin! Let's live together. Just us brothers! Let's make our father's dreams come true." Henry asked YiRu.

"Father. Father," YiRu started to cry again.

The door slammed open then ChunNie and YaLun burst inside.

"YiRu, are you okay?" ChunNie asked.

YiRu pushed his brother and picked up the bow and arrow. "Run!"

"Calvin!" Henry shouted.

"Hurry!" YiRu pointed the bow and arrow at YaLun and ChunNie.

"YiRu, what's going on?" YaLun asked confusingly.

"Calvin, I'll see you again, right?" Henry asked while moving backward. "Promise!"

He ran towards the exit door. The three of them left in the room.

"Damn it! YiRu!" ChunNie wanted to follow him but YiRu aimed at him.

YiRu lowered the weapon. He looked down. "He's... he's my big brother."

ChunNie was surprised while YaLun looked at YiRu sharply.

DaDong and Yi Zhen were on their way to Taipei.

"YiRu... baobei," Yi Zhen mumbled on her sleep.

"Damn that YiRu!" DaDong looked at her and they speed up on the highway...
