Mission 4: Execution of Betrayal Part 2

"I'm close to figuring out who did this. I can prove your innocence." Yu Wei assured him.

"Thanks for everything" ChunNie said his head down.

"You have talent, you'll be back in the league!" Yu Wei said excitedly.

"I hope so." ChunNie was still depressed.

"That's why we've been investigating this gambling ring."

"Yeah, and I've been looking into things on my own... and I'm getting closer to the truth." ChunNie finally looked up.

"And I've finally got an opportunity to meet them." Yu Wei checked at his watch. "It's almost time for the meeting."

ChunNie saw a man from Yu Wei's behind and hit him with a baseball bat.

"Yu Wei!" ChunNie shouted and he was hit also from his back.

"I can't believe I'm here with you again," Yu Wei said while they're walking under the bridge. "After that, I went to work for East Asia Construction. Mr. Lin has taken good care of me."

ChunNie stopped.

"What's wrong?" Yu Wei asked and turned back.

"You should stay away from Lin." ChunNie said without reaction. "As his assistant, you should know what Lin is really doing."

"What are you saying?" Yu Wei said and had no idea. "Mr. Lin is a great man. Why would you---"

"Yu Wei, I fear for your life!" ChunNie had a sudden reaction and hold him very tight.

"What's this about?" Yu Wei's face went serious. "Tell me, ChunNie!"

"I can't tell you that right now. Just shut up and do what I say." ChunNie said straight faced.

"We've worked hard together since we were kids, ChunNie! Tell me, tell me why!" Yu Wei shaking ChunNie's shoulder.

Again a few metres away, YaLun was observing and listening to their conversation.

"What? Lin Bo Yan's missing?" YiRu said surprised.

"Yeah. We got his schedule down and made a mission plan...then he disappeared." disappointment was written on DaDong's face.

"Good intentions have brought bad news..." YaLun leaning on the wall.

"What's going on? Is anything wrong?" ChunNie came out of nowhere.

"Lin Bo Yan disappeared." YiRu informed him.

"What?" ChunNie said.

"Yu Wei sensed danger. Because of what you said." YaLun gave ChunNie a cold glance.

"YaLun! You---" ChunNie said angrily.

"The mission is in progress." YiRu hold ChunNie. "Why wouldn't we keep tabs on Yu Wei?"

"Regardless, we have to find Lin Bo Yan." DaDong interrupted.

"Or should we go for Yu Wei first?" YaLun said.

"Yu Wei isn't that kind of man!" ChunNie bursted his anger.

"You never learn." YaLun said ignoring him.

Outside their secret hideout...

"Ella, please talk to Lao Ba. There's got to be a mistake." ChunNie begged his wife.

"You called me here just to say that? I'm sorry but I'm not the person to talk to." Ella walked away.

"Yu Wei has no idea what Lin Bo Yan is really doing. Ella, please tell Lao Ba... to remove Yu Wei from the target list." ChunNie asked her again.

"ChunNie. If you doubt Lao Ba, it's over." she continued to walk.

ChunNie lowered his head, defeated.

Riding his motorcycle, he's still thinking about Yu Wei when suddenly, a car chased him. The masked guy started to shoot at him. They followed until the thick bushes and continued to fire at ChunNie. He crossed at them and they all stumbled. ChunNie noticed one man as he go away.

"That man..." ChunNie mumbled.

Next morning, ChunNie and Yu Wei met at the local arcade shop.

"What's going on ChunNie? Why did you call me here?" Yu Wei looking suspicious at everyone around them.

"I was attacked by some unidentified men last night. One of them was the same guy from that wearhouse two years ago. I'm sure it was the same person who tried to frame me before. His name is... Lin Bo Yan." ChunNie looked at him intensely.

Yu Wei became uneasy. He moved away his eyes from ChunNie's stare. "Why do you...?"

"Where is Lin Bo Yan? You're his assistant, you should know! Please tell me... your life could be in danger too!" ChunNie eagerly asked.

Yu Wei stared at him for a few seconds. "Okay... I'll tell you everything. Actually, I had started to realize that too." Yu Wei faced one of the arcade game and hold there. "For the last two years, I've been investigating. And I came to the conclusion, Lin Bo Yan was behind it all. But if I told you, you'll be in danger again. That's why I didn't."

"Yu Wei..." ChunNie said.

"I want to make Lin Bo Yan confess by myself. He ruined your career as a pro-leaguer, it' my fault you almost got killed! This is the least I can do for you. Just give me a little more time to do what I need to do." Yu Wei said.

"No, it's too dangerous. Tell me where Lin Bo Yan is. Yu Wei, please!" ChunNie begged him.

"Okay. Lin Bo Yan is here." Yu Wei handed a small paper to ChunNie.

"At his beach house." ChunNie gripped the paper.

"No one is here today?" the girls are chatting outside Wedding Knights.

"Is Granny all by herself?" the short girl asked and peeked at the glass window.

"Maybe they'll show up later."

"Hey looked at this!"

"It's so cute!"

"Yeah, I don't have any money."

"I'm broke."

Yi Zhen tooked all the photographs of YiRu displayed at his mini gallery inside the shop and handed the money to the Granny.

"I'll take all these photographs of YiRu." Yi Zhen said.

Everybody looked at her with envious.

"What? You know where Lin Bo Yan is?" YiRu said while working on his computer. "You're going to hunt him down? So where is he?"

"That's right! Yu Wei is not a bad guy. He was just trying to get close to Lin Bo Yan for me." ChunNie said ride on his motorcycle going to the beach house where Lin Bo Yan is.

"Wait, I don't understand. Answer my questions, ChunNie!" YiRu heard busy tone. "He hung up."

"I will get you, Lin Bo Yan!" angry ChunNie speed up to the highway.
