Crush On You Chapter 10:Extra Chapter:Prince Dragon

Decades ago, a handsome prince named Wang Dong Cheng with black hair and brown eyes attacked some villagers. He was a cold-hearted person towards. King Wendell had tried to stop him by sealing him within the dragon box. "If you’re released again after a few decades, you will no longer have the appearance of a human. Instead, you will appear as a dragon, and only finding true love can turn you back." he had said. King Wendell was able to save the villagers as well as the country, and the dragon box was put in the castle's forbidden room. I happened to be reading this book called "The Mystery of the Dragon Box”.

I wonder about the dragon box and the mystery it contained. I was reading the book with Prince Xiu, my friend since childhood. Now we’re young adults, and he's still my friend. Prince Xiu appeared to have short black hair and dark brown eyes. He was part of the wealthy Chen family, and the villagers respected him. Both of our families have been friends before we were even born. "Is this only a fairytale or is this for real?" I asked. "I don't know, but I want to find out too, Lady Cyndi." Prince Xiu replied. My name is Cyndi Wang, but people call me Lady Cyndi to pay their respect since my dad, King Wendell IV and my mom, Queen Farah IV, owns the castle that we live in.

I admit I'm from a wealthy family, but I'm still very down to earth. I like to be quiet most of the time to relax my mind, always wanting to be in a peaceful surrounding. Our family trains Dragon Slayers since this book claimed that Prince Dragon (most people call him that referring from the book) should awaken soon. Still, my father is trying to maintain the seal placed on the box.

Our butler, Calvin, came up to me. "Lady Cyndi, Prince Xiu, King Wendell and Queen Farah want to see you for an urgent matter." Calvin announced. Prince Xiu has always been a gentleman to me, and I must admit that I like him because he always visited me since we were little until now; we just have some sort of bond to each other. He never upset me, but I wonder if he feels the same way towards me. Cyndi Chen sounded good to me. As we reached my parents, we saw that Prince Xiu's parents were also there. I wonder what is this urgent matter could be.

"My precious daughter, you have grown into a fine young lady. We have been discussing your engagement to Prince Xiu from the Chen family. We're getting old now, and I would need a boy to be heir of this country. I thought Prince Xiu would be a good choice for you." King Wendell IV said. I remained silent and looked at Prince Xiu's face before whispering to him, "Prince Xiu, did you know about this?" He looked at me and said, "No, Lady Cyndi. I didn't know about this, but I'm willing to take you as my fiancé." he confirmed.

Prince Xiu is willing to take me as his fiancée? Does this mean he feels the same way towards me? I remained silent for a moment, and then made my decision. "Mom, dad, I understand. I'm willing to be Prince Xiu's fiancé." I said. "That's great!" King Chen exclaimed. "Congratulations on your engagement! I'm so proud of you, son!" Queen Chen smiled at Prince Xiu. "Let's make the engagement party tonight." Queen Farah IV suggested, and everyone agreed. I was happy that I am now engaged to Prince Xiu. I asked Prince Xiu if we could go together to the forbidden room where the dragon box should be.

He agreed and we made a plan to disguise ourselves as a Dragon Slayer so that nobody would notice who we are. We reached the door that was blocked by guards. "Ahem, Time to change shifts." I coughed, trying to disguise my voice. The guards left and gave us the key to the forbidden door. As we entered the door, everything looked very antique and dusty, since it hasn't been opened for decades. "Lady Cyndi, isn't that the dragon box?" Prince Xiu pointed nat a wooden box with a dragon's face. At the front of the box was a message written on it in Chinese characters.

We were unable to read it, because neither of us knew Chinese. "Prince Xiu, I'm curious about this dragon box. I wonder if that prince really is in here or if this whole thing is just a legend." I said, my eyes never left the box. "Don't worry Lady Cyndi, I'm right here if anything happens, and I will protect you." Prince Xiu said, courageously. We decided that we would open the box, but when we tried to open it, it wouldn’t budge.

"Prince Xiu, don't you think that there's probably a code along with this seal or something?" I asked. "Great idea, Lady Cyndi. Prince Dragon!" Prince Xiu shouted. The dragon box suddenly levitated and opened at the sound of Prince Xiu’s voice. Two huge flashes of green light unleashed. The first one flew up into the sky and the second light flew towards me and shocked me. I suddenly collapsed. I could still hear Prince Xiu calling out my name, but I couldn't respond. I was completely paralyzed and a word could not leave my mouth. It’s like I was in a deep sleep, but I could still hear everything that was happening.

I could hear Prince Xiu running and shouting, "LADY CYNDI COLLAPSED!" After a while, I felt people carrying me, and then I suddenly lost consciousness. I became conscious in the afternoon and I was no longer immobilized. I opened my eyes. Everything was slightly blurry, but I could tell that I was in my bedroom. Someone was holding my hand; it was Prince Xiu. "My lady, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I'm glad you’re awake now. Are you feeling alright? The doctor told us that you should rest for the whole day. Please go back to sleep." he spoke quickly. I smiled at him to reassure him that I was fine.

The next day, I woke up feeling much better than the day before. Prince Xiu was still there, holding my hand while he was asleep. He really does care about me. I grabbed a blanket and placed it around him, and then waited for him to wake up. My mom told me that the engagement party that was cancelled last night and was rescheduled for tonight. After awhile, Prince Xiu woke up. "Thanks for being there for me." I said while smiling.

"It was nothing my lady. I'm really sorry, because of me, you collapsed." he said with a guilty expression filled with disgust towards himself. "Don't worry, I don't blame you. I'm fine now so cheer up, okay?" I said, trying to comfort him. He nodded and we went to eat breakfast with our parents. I was preparing for my engagement party tonight, and Prince Xiu was preparing himself in the guest room. That night, our engagement was announced to everyone. All the villagers and other high class families were invited. Prince Xiu and I were dancing when suddenly, a green dragon appeared. "Prince Dragon! He‘s here!" Someone shouted.
