After that, the Reyes Family went for a picnik by the Yoho National Park which is nearby the Yoho National Forest. Vincent and Winnie were playing catch with their dad, Nick,while Melanie is preparing food. They ate lunch together and then Nick received a phone call. "What?? Father had a heart attack?" Melanie came and asked Nick. "Is there something wrong dear?." Nick respond and said, "Mom called from Canada and said that Dad had a heart attack." Melanie's eyes were shocked and said, "Is he alright?." Nick said, "Yeah he's condition is stable for now but Mom said we need to go there right away because there'll be nobody to rule the company and I'm the only son." "But what about us?," said Melanie. "You and children will come," said Nick.************************************************************************************
The Reyes family decided to migrate in Canada immediately. They lived in Granville Street at Vancouver Canada.Melanie has quit her job as a teller and they sold their house in the Philippines.The children studied in Canada. It took them a few months to adapt to the language and the culture in Canada. After three years, Nick's dad is ready to get back to work and he decided to send Nick for a vacation since he's been working really hard. Nick and Melanie decided to go on a cruise trip with their children. It was the first of July and the kids are done with school. Winnie and Vincent we're so excited. They will be staying in the cruise for about two weeks. They took pictures together as a souvenir. They enjoy their time together at the pool and at the restaurant.The moment they were together was priceless. Melanie and Nick decided to gave a present to their kids."Kids your dad and I have something for the both of you," said Melanie. "Can you guess it?," said Nick. "Uh-uh..Daddy." Winnie said. "We don't have any idea," Vincent said. "Well here it is. It's a heart necklace with a picture of me and your dad. It can be broken into two pieces." said Melanie. "Winnie you will have this half piece with my picture on it and Vincent you will have this another half piece with your mom's picture in it." said Nick. "Thanks mom, I liked it." said Winnie. "Yeah thanks but it's not our birthday so why did you gave us a gift?" said Vincent. "Nothing much." said Nick. "We just want you to have it and we want you to treasure it." said Melanie. "Promise us that you'd always we're this necklace." said Nick. "And always remember that...WE LOVE YOU!," said Nick and Melanie. We love you too mommy, daddy. We promise." said Winnie and Vincent. While they were at the cruise, a sudden news came about a typhoon where they are headed too. It was signal number three. All the people in the cruise was in panic. There were huge waves and it's thundering outside. The captain asked the passengers to we're life jackets for their safety. They tried to contact the pier but there's was no luck. There were no signals since it's raining really hard. Then the staff of the cruise found out that there was a leak in their cruise. They tried to something about it but it's no use, the water kept coming in the cruise. The passengers jump in the water as well as the Reyes family. "Nick, hold the kids tightly." said Melanie. "I'm on it," said Nick. "Mommy, I'm scared," said Winnie. "Are we going to die?" said Vincent. "Aww..Don't be scared. Mommy is here. " said Melanie. "We're not gonna die. "We will protect you with our life," said Nick. They were holding each other's hand. But then their hands became slippery because of the huges wames coming in and out. Winnie and Vincent got separated from their parents. Morning came, and no one survived the tragedy except for Winnie and Vincent, they are still missing until now. Their grandparents, Leonardo Reyes and Natalia Reyes found a letter of Nick in his office. "Dad,Mom,I don't know if I will come back but I gave Winnie and Vincent the Necklace. In this letter, it has the picture of what the necklace looks like. Please take care of your grandchildren. Remember that you'll always be in my heart. Love, Nick." The president of MBW company, Leonado Reyes, started to cry even Natalia, his wife, started to cry. They lost their only son as well as their daughter-in-law. "Natalia, this is not the time for us to cry. We must find our grandchildren. My future successor." said Leonardo. "Yes I'll hire the best detectives right away to find them. I have faith that they're still alive." said Natalia.
