Chapter 9
"Are you going to put a shop inside my house? You almost bought all their stocks!" agent Calvin exclaimed when he saw Cammy pushing two carts of clothes and shoes. "Aiyoh! You know that I don't have anything left except what I'm wearing! Don't worry, I'm paying for it," she flashes her premium gold credit card. "Do you think I will pay for it? It's your clothes not mine," he smirked. "Hmmmp!" she pouted and go to the counter. As agent Calvin wait for Cammy to finish, he spotted a very nice shoes. He take his size and put in Cammy's cart. "Huh? You like this shoes? Cmon! We're the same age but your sense of taste is soo... oldie!" I'll pick one for you." she said. "No need. I like this one. Besides, your sense of fashion is soo... weird." he insisted. "Pai Tuo! Your choosing skills suck!" she commented. "Darling, that's not the way to treat your husband. You should respect and appreciate what he likes so your relationship will go on smoothly," the old lady in the back said. "Nai nai is right sweetheart. You should accept my good and bad qualities." he have a big grin on his face. She just rolled her eyes. She paid and they leave the shopping mall. "Wei! Your shoes is quite expensive. You should pay me back," she told when they entered the house. "Alright I'll pay for the shoes and give me the house rent," he replied. "That's unfair! I didn't insist myself to stay in your house. You volunteered!" she protested. "Nevermind. Can you prepare lunch today?I'm fed up with take outs." he requested. "I suck at cooking soo don't dare to make stupid comments ok?" she warned him. He shrugged his shoulder. She turn all the bags upside down and the clothes scattered on the floor. "What the heck? Can you do that in your room?" he started picking up. Cammy taps his hands. "Back off! I'm just finding something. Oh, here it is!" she pick a nice colored shirt. She put it on Calvin. "See? You look much better with bright colored shirt." she pinch his right cheek and walk through the kitchen. He was speechless. Before Cammy reach the door, he grabbed her hand and kiss her on the cheek. "Thanks," he said. Cammy blushed. She just grin and go inside. Maddy and officer Jiro stopped. Their eyes are full of tenderness and passion. Then suddenly Maddy think of her sister. She pushed him. "You shouldn't do that!" she said. "Why can't I do that? As far as I know, you don't have a boyfriend do you?" he replied. "But.. you like my sister not me! ...and I hate you remember?" she stammered. "Ahhh! So, you hate me because you know I like your sister?" he started to tease her. "You really are jealous!" he continued. "I'm not!" she said angrily. "You don't know me very well then," he said mysteriously."Whoah! Thank God I'm done! I hate cooking!" Cammy said after she finished. Agent Calvin entered the kitchen. "You hate to do chores. What else you like to do? Nothing! You're so lazy," he help to fix the table. "Thanks. I really appreciate that," she said sarcastically. Her phone ring. "Sorry, all lines are busy now, please try your call later," "You can't fool me anymore sweety. I know it's you," officer Jiro laughing on the other line. "Wahahaha! I'm not good at that one huh?" she replied. "I just want to ask, does Maddy know about me even before we met? She seems to hate me a lot. I don't know if she's jealous or just really don't like me," he sound soo frustrated. "Woah! are you falling for her? Congrats! Very unlucky guy!" she teases him. "She thought I like you because I'm always mentioning you to her and I think it makes her pissed off. What should I do? I really like your sister since the day I saw her." he confessed. "I'm not an expert when it comes to love but my sister really likes attention and try not to compare me on her. You should see her good qualities and let her know about that. Ok? Call me what is the result of your confession. Jia You!" then she hang up. "Officer Jiro?" agent Calvin asked. "Yeah." she giggles. "He's going to confess to Maddy! YaY! I really like officer Jiro for her." she sit on the table. "Really?!" he smiled very wide. "...I mean really? He like your sister? I thought..." "He likes me? Nahh! He's like a brother to me. Besides, I think I found the one who stole my heart." Agent Calvin drop the plate he's holding. "Wei, are you alright?" she ask while picking up the broken plate. He help her to pick up but his hand landed on hers. Again the electricity run through their veins. "Who?" he ask looking straight to her eyes. Before she could answer, a girl's voice filled out the air. "Woohoo! Calvin darling, I'm back!" then they heard footsteps going to the kitchen. "Cal, what are you doing under the table?" she questioned him. "Genie! When did you come back?" he stand up and help Cammy too. "Just today. I can't wait to see you so I go straight here from the airport. I miss you soo much," she hugged him. Agent Calvin felt uneasy as Cammy staring at them. "And you are?" she turn to Cammy. "Junior Police Officer Cameron Yang." she offered her hand for a shake but she ignored it. "Ohh. Anyway, come here darling. I have lots of gifts for you from Italy." she pulled agent Calvin out of the kitchen. "Come here darling. I have lots of gifts for you from Italy." she imitates her. "Hmmmppp! He leaves me with the mess here just to be with Ms. Skinny bones!" she's soo irritated. She makes a lot of noise while cleaning up. "You will break more if you do that," agent Calvin talk behind her. "OMG! I swear if you guys do it one more time I'll be dead!" she's holding her chest. "Why so jumpy?" he ask while helping her. She ignored him. "Where's your little Ms. Skinny bones?" Cammy ask. Agent Calvin laugh on what she said. "She go already." he said. "So... who is the unlucky guy who stole your heart?" he remembered to ask again. Cammy think for a few minutes before she answer. "Oh, I forgot to ask his name. I just met him a few days ago. But I think he already have a girlfriend. He looks happy when they're together." she said. Agent Calvin didn't know that he is the one she's talking about. He look at her with tenderness. "Awww, don't give me that look. I don't need pity specially from you." she pouted. He grab her hand. "Don't worry, you'll find what you were looking for...soon."
