Chapter 5
"Why are you there in the back seat?" officer Jiro ask as he slide in the driver's seat. "I like it here." Maddy said. He just shrug his shoulder. They didn't go to school directly. They went to the station first because agent Calvin has something to announce to everybody. "Huh? Why are we here? We'll be late for school!" Cammy exclaimed. Agent Calvin ignored her. They went straight to uncle Jim's office. "What is this all about Calvin? Why you call a meeting all of a sudden?" uncle Jim asked him. "We need to change our tactic. Warren Tan accidentally saw Cameron as Madison. He is a smart guy. He will figure out later that there's two of them. I need Cammy to replace Maddy in our class then leave Jiro into finding the next victim in their class." he explained. "Am I hearing this right? Cammy will replace me in our class? I'm doomed!" Maddy said exaggerately. "Wei! I'm not that dumb." she said. "Yeah, right!" Maddy, agent Calvin and uncle Jim said. "Stop that nonsense. She have feelings too," officer Jiro told them while tapping Cammy's shoulder. "So where should I go?" Maddy ask agent Calvin. "You need to hide or go on vacation until we finish our mission," he said. "Nice! I think I know where I'll go," she had a vacation plan in her mind already. "Ok, so Cameron will replace Madison in her class. As for Madison, I'll get you a plane ticket today and go to your auntie in Hongkong. After Jiro find out who is the victim, he will come there as your protection." uncle Jim finalized their plan. "Whoah! There's no need for him to follow me there. I can protect myself." Maddy said proudly. "I bet you can't handle even a knife." officer Jiro whispered. "Are you saying something?" she asked. "Nothing!" he answered. "It's settled then. Now go. You know already what to do." uncle Jim dismissed them. While on their way to school, Cammy is looking for her ID in the bag. "Where is it?" she keeps looking. Then she turn upside down her bag and all the things inside spread around the car. "What are you looking for?" agent Calvin asked. "The ID that the girl gave me the other day. Oh, here it is. Huh? This is not mine." she said. "Let me see," he took from her hand. "Maybe she's one of them. Did you happen to do something suspicious?" agent Calvin look at her. "Mmmmm. Nothing. Just like a typical student. Nothing suspicious. I slept the whole class actually. Hehehe!" she joke. He dialled officer Jiro's number. "Jiro, you know what to tell the teacher about Cameron ok? And see the reaction of the girl who approached us the other day. Stay close at her. She might be one of them." he close. As they reach the school Cammy is a bit worried. Agent Calvin notice her. "What's wrong? Are you nervous?" he ask her. "Errr, a little bit. Maybe they will know that I'm not Maddy. I'm not as smart as her as you all say," she feels insecure. Agent Calvin look at her straight in the eyes. He saw a glint of sadness. He grab her hand. "Cmon, we're late already." They walk hand in hand to the classroom. Everybody stop and all their eyes are looking in one direction. Their hands. Cammy pulled out her hand from agent Calvin. They sat in their chair. No one is talking. Then, "Madison," "Calvin," they said at the same time. Cammy get her mobile phone. She send him a message. " I can call you Calvin anytime I want now!Beeehhhhh!!!Woot!" she send to him laughing. Agent Calvin reach his pocket and check the message. His eyes popped out when he saw the message. He replied back. "You're happy playing with my name?". Her phone vibrate. She read it. Then she laugh. "Of course I am! It's my chance. Calvin! Calvin! Calvin!" she repeated his name for several times. "Psssttt! Stop it will you?" he whispered to Cammy. She stick out her tongue. "Beeeehhhh!!!" Their teacher came and they started the class. She can't sleep because they all know that she is Maddy. "Uggghhhhh!!! When are we gonna finish? I'm soo bored here!" she secretly send message to agent Calvin. He replied back. "Will you pay attention to class? That's why your brain is not functioning properly." As the class dismissed, she felt very relieve. "Whooaaahhhh! At last!" she stretch her body. "Let's go. Jiro is calling me 10x already. Maybe he have news for us," he held her hand. Cammy is starting to like his habit of taking her hand. When they saw officer Jiro smiling wide, they know he have a good news. It gets wider when he saw their hands together. They didn't notice that they're not separating. "Is there anything that you will tell us?" agent Calvin asked. "The girl who handed you your ID, she's the real Marian So. In my observation, she is the next victim of Warren Tan. She looks troubled all the time and not paying attention to class. She looks like she's not sleeping for a week! She handed her ID because it's her way to ask for help." he tell all the details. "Good. So our mission is going on smoothly. Anyway, Warren Tan didn't show up in our class soo I don't have any news for you." agent Calvin said as they walk to their cars. "How about you Sweety Pie? How was your Chemistry class?" he teases Cammy. "Pai Tuo! I thank God and all the angels in the heaven for giving me strength in listening to this boring class! I think my brain will explode if I hear another formula tomorrow." she protested. "But you are enjoying it!" he teases her again. He mean about their hands not the school subject. She rolled her eyes. "See you!" she wave goodbye to officer Jiro. "Madison!" someone call her from the back. "It's Warren Tan, be alert," agent Calvin warned her. Cammy look back. "Hi there," she said smiling. Warren's smile faded as he approached Cammy aka Maddy. He saw their hand is still together. "Who is this Madison?" he said. "He is my---" she will say cousin but agent Calvin interrupted. "Her boyfriend," he pulled her towards him and put his arms on his shoulder. "Ohhh." Warren's jaw stiffened and Cammy saw he clenched his teeth. "I thought having boyfriend is not in your system Madison. That's why you rejected me. I told you already I didn't love that Marian So. I'm just hanging around with her. But anyway, I'm happy for both of you. Goodbye." he walk away but she swear they saw this anger that she never seen in her whole life. "OMG! Maddy is in danger! She really have to hide away. Did you see the look on his face?" she asked agent Calvin. "Yeah. I need to tell to your uncle to send her right away. With Jiro."
