Chapter 7
Aaron hold her hand to prevent her from falling.She felt a sudden electricity when their hands touch. Aaron was surprise to himself. Like an instinct,everytime she fell, he will catch her. Anryn and Aaron's eyes lock like they are the only person in the room. "Hello! Earth calling!" the petite girl name Tian Mo Xing break the silence. "Can you continue your work with them and leave my bao bei alone" she bickered. Anryn felt a sudden urge of anger and want to pull her hair until she gets bald. "Leave her. Leave her. When she is around, nobody touch her bao bei" Calvin imitates her. "Who is she anyway?" she asked. "My talent" Chen Lin came out from her back. "Just bear with her attitude. She's a brat." she whispered. "She's Aaron's ex-girlfriend, Mo Xing" Jiro followed. "Oh really? That's why..." Anryn said. "What's with the 'that's why' thing?" Chun asked. "That's why they had relationship,they have the same personality and that's why they break up, they can't stand each other because they share the same attitude, am I right?" Anryn asked all of them. They all nod at the same time. She look back at Aaron and Mo Xing and she felt a small pain in her heart. She don't know what it means. "Bad news, Carla jie jie," Jen,the asssistant,tell manager Carla hurriedly. "What is it?" "The dance partner of Calvin can't come. She caught a flu yesterday." "OMG! How can this be happening again?!" manager Carla exclaimed in frustration."Why not pick a girl from here?" Chun suggested. "It's just a few shots and short rehearsal, it can be arranged right?" he added. "Oh yeah! Thanks for the suggestion!" she kissed his cheek. Then manager Carla started to roam around. Then she turn to Chen Lin and Anryn. "Oh no! Oh no! Not me again! Remember what happen last time?" Chen Lin refused because the last time she got a part in their mv, they had 50+ estimated NG's. She don't want problem for them. "I'll stick with the assisting, thank you" she finalized. "Anryn, I need you to do me a favor. One of our dancer got sick so I need a partner for Calvin,soo... can you do it please?" manager Carla begging her. "Whaa...t?" Anryn was surprised. "But how?" "Don't worry, we just started the filming so you still have time to rehearse with everybody.It's only a short part so it will be easy on you" manager Carla encouraging her. She look at Calvin. His eyes are begging. How can she reject that lovely eyes? "Ok," she agreed. "Great! We'll start the rehearsal in a few minutes so be ready." manager Carla said and she leave the room. "I don't have the clothes for the shooting," she told Chen Lin. "You're clothes are perfect for the mv.Don't worry, you look great." Chen Lin told her. "Wei, I heard you will replace Calvin's partner. Jia you!" Aaron approach her. "Yeah. Thanks."she answered. "Err,ummm... can you....ummm," Aaron feels uneasy. "What is it?" Anryn asked. "Can you... fix my tie?" he answered shyly. "She is not good at it," he is reffering to Mo Xing. She smile at him. This is the first time he approach her without bickering. Anryn reach for his tie and fix it. While she's fixing the tie, she felt his eyes are roaming around her face. Her hands tremble. She don't know why. Something in his stare that make her feel like this. And she is not liking it. "Done." she said. "Thanks."he smiled at her. His smile gives her the chills. "What the hell is happening to me?" asking herself again. When she turn around, a pair of furious eyes is watching her. Tian Mo Xing look's like she want to eat her alive. She just ignored and went back to Calvin. "Ok we'll start now so into your positions!" the choreographer called everybody's attention. A few minutes of part of mv takes a whole day of rehearsing and shooting. She enjoyed dancing with Calvin that's the most important of all. He is so gentle and makes her laugh everytime they had a conversation. "Can I ask you something, Anryn?" Calvin said while they are packing their things. They finished the filming a little bit earlier so they have time to eat dinner outside before going home. "Sure," she replied. "Do you have special someone in your heart?" he asked her directly. Anryn look at him with surprise. "Aside from my auntie, I don't think so," she answered nervously. "Geez, what is this? I know his next question to me but why do I feel akward about it?Isn't this I've always wanted?" she asked herself. Calvin reach her hand and said, "I really like you the first time I saw you, Anryn," he said.Even though she know that he will said that already but still her jaw dropped. "Holy macaroni! So this is how it feels to be proposed.Gosh! It felt weird!" she's talking to herself again. Before she can answer, Aaron and Mo Xing came and saw Calvin holding her hands. She quickly take her hands back. Jiro, Chen Lin and Chun came afterwards. "Let's go guys! The night is young. Let's eat our hearts out!" Jiro exclaimed happily. When she passed by Aaron's side, she saw a glint of anger in his eyes. What is the meaning of that? Is he jealous?
